We’d like to let residents know about a fantastic local event taking place in Tutbury:

🏰 The Siege of Tutbury
📅 Saturday 20th June (from 10:00) - Sunday 21st June (until 16:00)
📍 Tutbury Playing Fields, DE13 9HA

Join in the action as history comes to life! You’ll be able to explore what it was like to live – and fight – in 17th century Staffordshire during the English Civil War.

Expect to see:
✨ A lively living history encampment
🎯 Hands-on activities for all ages
💥 Thrilling battlefield re-enactments
🔊 Infantry and artillery demonstrations recreating the famous siege

It’s set to be a brilliant, family-friendly event with something for everyone.

Please Note: Due to the nature of the displays, loud noises from cannon and musket are a common occurrence, please bear that in mind when looking to bring small children and dogs.

👮 I’ll also be there enjoying the re-enactment and will be available if any residents would like to have a chat or raise any local concerns.
